Leadership Notebooks
-
This year, Murphy Elementary is working hard on our classroom leadership notebooks. Each class has chosen specific W.I.G.s (wildly important goals) to focus on in their classroom and we are tracking our progress in our notebooks. The following are the sections that each classroom should have in their notebooks:
1. My Self
2. My W.I.G.s
3. My Learning
4. My Leadership
5. My Celebrations
Wildly Important Goals
-
W.I.G.s are also known as Wildly Important Goals. These goals are decided on as a building and tracked in our classrooms and on our hallway scoreboards. This year, Murphy has decided to focus on reading and attendance.
Our building attendance goal is that 96% of our students will be at school every day. You can see our attendance tracked daily on the bulletin board by the office. This is completed by our building attendance leaders.
Reading goals are decided within the classroom and are tracked in students leadership notebooks, classroom scoreboards, and hallway scoreboards.
